PortAero Codes is an offline-first Android app for quickly searching and managing airport and seaport codes worldwide.
About the App
PortAero Codes is designed for professionals and enthusiasts who need fast access to airport and seaport information.
The application combines worldwide airport data with UN/LOCODE seaport data in a modern, offline-first experience optimized for speed and reliability.
Airport and port reference datasets are downloaded during the initial setup and stored locally on the device. Once downloaded, searches and normal usage work offline. When newer data becomes available, the application downloads only the datasets that have changed.
Users can also create custom locations and manage favorites for quick access.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the app work offline?
Yes. On first launch, the application downloads the required airport and port reference datasets. Once the initial download is complete, searches and normal usage work offline.
How often are the databases updated?
The application periodically checks for newer airport and port datasets. Only datasets that have changed are downloaded.
Does Premium require a subscription?
No. Premium is a one-time purchase that removes banner advertisements. All application features remain available in the free version.
Which data sources are used?
Airport data is provided by OurAirports. Port data is based on UN/LOCODE.
How are locations opened in maps?
The application opens locations in the user's preferred maps application using Android intents. If no compatible maps application is available, it falls back to Google Maps in the browser.
